I've had mine on for awhile now, and am absolutely thrilled with it!! The sound is great, the performance is great, and install is a snap. It's a more aggressive tone, especially in the upper RPM's (even more while driving with the scoop forcing the air up into it), and the throttle response is wonderful! Anybody afraid of DIY's, don't be with this unit! Takes 10 minutes!

Just wanted to provide a testimonial on my new CAI intake for my 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo (3.5L V6). Easy install - direct fit from OE intake - took 25 mins to install. Nice & noticable / agressive tone with my single outlet 40 series Flowmaster muffler (especially at WOT)- got compliments that it sounds like a V8. You can really notice the added power instantly. Just one thing for anyone with the 3.5L V6 MC - since the OE box had the PCV filter/tube attached to it, I had to remove the PCV filter/tube & install a 1 3/8 " breather....simple procedure took about 15 mins, and the breather actually looks sharp with the new CAI intake.

I've installed Doug Thorley shorties, Solo Performance high flow cats, custom X-pipe exhaust with resonator delete, Flowmaster Super-44 mufflers, and a performance tune via Diablo Predetor on my 2010 Camaro SS - LS3. The CAI was the last component added to the mix and I must say the CAI addition took my car to a whole new level, even after all the other mods. Well worth the money too! Amazing quality, I couldn't find one for my 2006 Monte anywhere as it is the 3.9l lz9 engine and its not super popular in the aftermarket world.
