Diablo Formula Racing is working on a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS. Even though the car already came from the dealer with impressive power, he wanted to find a way to add even more performance to Hammerdown's white Camaro SS.

Nothing is better than adding more rear-wheel horsepower. DFR breaks down the system right out of the box and shows each component in detail. He replaces the spacer in the front of the intake manifold, but aside from that, he uses the parts directly from the box for what looks like an instant performance upgrade.

Having worked on several Camaros with Cold Air Inductions cold air intake systems, he is already familiar with the installation process. The Camaro already had headers and other upgrades installed, making the intake system another important step toward improving overall performance.

During the latter part of the video, you can clearly hear the increased intake sound as air moves into the engine. This sixth-generation Camaro benefits from increased horsepower and stronger top-end torque with the cold air intake installed.

Although the video does not include side-by-side dyno testing before and after the intake installation, DFR estimated that Hammerdown's Camaro was making around 440 horsepower at the wheels with the cold air intake and other supporting modifications.
